NYC DCAS Energy Management seeks a Deputy Director to provide administrative and technical leadership for capital project planning and delivery for city facilities. Energy Management serves as the hub for energy efficiency and emissions reduction throughout NYC government operations, supporting our agency partners' progress towards the City's major emissions reduction and energy objectives. The Energy Management team concentrates their efforts in six areas: the City's energy supply, clean energy generation, demand response & load management, energy efficient operations & maintenance, energy efficiency retrofit projects, and energy training & innovation.
The Deputy Director will provide administrative and technical leadership for capital project planning and delivery while managing staff, consultants, contractors, and design-build teams engaged in energy-efficiency projects at City facilities.
Their primary responsibilities will be to exercise full administrative and technical responsibilities for capital project planning and delivery, and to manage staff and design builders engaged in the design and construction of energy efficiency capital projects at city facilities.
