Office of the Illinois Secretary of State in Chicago seeks a Deputy Director - Administrative Hearings to plan, direct, and coordinate operations within the Hearings Division and related inter-divisional activities.

The role oversees formal and informal hearings under the Illinois Vehicle Code in the Chicago metro area and surrounding regions, and directs BAIID division functions including ignition interlock oversight and vendor certification.

Formación

• Requires completion of four years college, preferably with major coursework in business, public administration, or law.
• Three years of managerial/legal experience in a private or public organization.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and coordinates formal administrative hearings and related activities.
• Directs the BAIID division operations, including ignition interlock oversight.
• Coordinates with General Counsel on appellate hearings.
• Inter-divisional and inter-governmental liaison duties.
• Evaluates division staff and prepares reports.
