Job summary

The role ensures seamless PSAP function, supports system consolidation and tech upgrades, and may act as Director in absence.

The position involves 24/7 availability, potential expanded duties if ETSB merges with Emergency Management, and coordination with local agencies.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent with five years of 9-1-1 PSAP management experience.
• Five years in front line emergency communications (dispatch and dispatch systems).
• One year experience with Next Generation 9-1-1 and VoIP systems.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Technical proficiency in 9-1-1 systems, radio, CAD, GIS mapping.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of countywide 9-1-1 services.
• Monitor performance metrics and call statistics for service quality.
• Lead technical and administrative teams; supervise staff.
• Coordinate training programs and evaluations.
• Support technology upgrades, vendor contracts, and regulatory compliance.
