Job summary

The Kenan Advantage Group seeks a Depot Manager in Toledo, OH to lead the depot team and ensure SAFE, efficient operations. You will serve as the primary contact for customers and guide lift operators and mechanics while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Travel is modest, with occasional weekend and after-hours support as needed. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role at The Kenan Advantage Group.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in depot operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the Safety Values of the organization across all associates.
• Provide leadership to direct reports and act as the face of the organization to frontline staff.
• Manage productivity of lift operators and mechanics at the location.
• Provide feedback, communicate key issues, and coach peers.
• Collaborate with local vendors and tank wash to ensure high service quality for customers.
• Coach and develop associates by setting expectations, giving feedback, and managing performance.
• Establish regular performance and safety reviews and address issues promptly.
• Oversee upkeep of steam and lift units to minimize downtime and costs.
• Work with the Director, Depot Operations to identify concerns and develop corrective actions.
• Serve as the daily customer contact for equipment at the location.
• Ensure accurate use of IT systems and data capture.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager to align transportation, cleaning, and maintenance activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
