Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic II to perform depot-level maintenance on V-22 and related aircraft components. You will repair, modify, and assemble metal structures to exacting standards per blueprints and specifications.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, DoD clearance eligibility, and experience in aircraft airframes or sheet metal; expect rigorous safety training and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Civilian or military experience as aircraft airframes or sheet metal mechanic required.
• Valid US Driver's License required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship status required.
• Must pass a NACI which could include a credit check.
• We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform Depot Level Maintenance on V-22 aircraft metal and composite parts.
• Must be able to perform all duties associated with the Depot Level repair of H-53, and V-22 aircraft components, to include propeller repair.
• Maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate to complex difficulty.
• Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and discrepancies.
• Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve problems by interpreting technical documentation.
