V2X, Inc. seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. You will troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems, supervise tasks, and ensure safe operation of aircraft, primarily related to the V-22 tiltrotor platform.

You will perform complex troubleshooting, execute maintenance inspections, and coordinate with supervisors to maintain schedules. A DoD Secret level clearance is required or the ability to obtain it, with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting and repair.
• Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural repair.
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory.
• Familiarity with aircraft publications and manuals.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet schedules.

Responsabilités

• Maintains and repairs aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and motors.
• Replaces or repairs worn components and disassembles/reassembles engine parts as needed.
• Performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.
• Supervises jacking and towing of aircraft and ensures work passes safety checks.
• Complies with applicable maintenance publications and standards.
• Records entries in aircraft logs and reports and maintains traceability.
