Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation is seeking an Assembly Technician L3 to support the repair depot with hands-on assembly, disassembly, and parts replacement. The role emphasizes accurate documentation in the in-house system and providing frontline technical support to resolve issues within scheduled timeframes.

The ideal candidate will have an A+ certification, strong English literacy, and familiarity with common PC brands. Proficiency with MS Office and a collaborative, goal-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• A+ certification or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Prefer 1 year of Repair Depot experience.
• Prefer experience in a low production PC environment.
• Experience replacing simple components (LCD/HDD) across multiple brands.
• Knowledge of models such as ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Apple, Acer.
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience working with temp agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble units.
• May replace parts as needed.
• Document unit and parts information in the in-house system.
• Serve as a support line for technical issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
