Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation is seeking an Assembly Technician L1 in Grapevine, TX. The role focuses on the replacement of parts and basic hardware troubleshooting within a warehouse/repair setting.

You will document unit and parts information in the company system, and may assemble/disassemble units as required. A high school diploma and related repair experience are preferred, with familiarity across common PC brands and basic office software.

Qualifications

• Reads and writes English proficiently to document work.
• Experience replacing components such as LCD/HDD.
• Familiarity with various PC brands (ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Apple, Acer).
• Basic computer skills including MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Experience with staffing agencies or temp assignments in warehouse/repair environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble units as needed.
• Replace parts within established timelines.
• Troubleshoot simple hardware issues and document findings.
• Record unit information and parts in the in-house system.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
