Western Alliance Bank, a subsidiary of Western Alliance Bancorporation, seeks a Deposit Operations Manager - Tax Processes to lead the tax operations team. You will oversee informational tax reporting, withholding, FATCA, and regulatory compliance to ensure accurate and timely filings.

The role requires extensive experience in banking operations, strong leadership, and collaboration with Corporate Tax. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Formación

• 10+ years of related experience in Branch Banking Operations or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Experience managing regulated processes with fixed filing, payment, notice, or reporting deadlines.
• Experience with reconciliations, transaction approvals, segregation of duties, exception management, evidence retention, audits, examinations, or issue remediation.
• Advanced knowledge of banking operations and regulatory obligations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the BOS team responsible for informational tax reporting and withholding processes.
• Oversee pre-filing QA, file validation, reconciliations, and retention of evidence.
• Manage FATCA, W-8/W-9, B Notices, and TIN compliance activities.
• Coordinate with Corporate Tax to delineate ownership of forms and filings.
• Ensure procedures, controls, and audit-ready evidence across tax processes.
• Manage tax-related vendor and system dependencies and issue escalation.
