Job summary

Cogent-Bank is seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist to provide comprehensive support to the Deposit Operations Manager and bank departments. You will monitor and process non-post items, stop pays, positive pays, and NSF items daily, and handle account maintenance and debit/ATM matters as needed.

The role requires strong attention to detail, basic Excel/Word skills, and the ability to work in a team to meet regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years related experience.
• Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and Word required.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and address non-post, stop pays, positive pay or NSF items daily.
• Open and maintain accounts and related documentation.
• Process foreign items, returned mail, and debit card matters.
• Handle ATM matters, maintenance, and disputes.
• Process ACH items, wires, and daily account maintenance requests.
