Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years related experience.
• Effective interpersonal relationships with bank team members.

• Understanding of policies and regulations for Deposit Operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and address all non-post, stop pays, positive pay or NSF items daily.
• Open commercial accounts and account maintenance.
• Process foreign items and returned mail.
• Handle debit card matters including ordering and maintenance.
• Oversee all ATM matters including maintenance and disputes.
• Process chargebacks, ACH, wires, and CD interest checks.
• Verify signatures on wires in compliance with policy.
• Review mobile and merchant capture deposits.
• Process daily account maintenance requests per policy.
• Monitor lockbox items and new account documents.
• Assist customers with online banking, mobile banking, and bill pay questions.
• Answer questions regarding account activity and resolve issues.
• Report discrepancies to the Deposit Operations Manager and assist in clearing them.
• Provide backup to other Deposit Operations Specialists.
• Maintain detailed records of work responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
• Stay current on regulatory requirements and training.
• Ensure BSA/AML compliance and complete related courses.
