Job summary

First Security Bank is seeking a Deposit Operations Representative to join our Arkansas team and ensure accurate processing, maintenance, and verification of accounts and related documentation. You will uphold regulatory requirements and deliver strong internal support to branches and customer service teams.

The role requires on-site work with regular hours and a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork to provide exceptional service to customers and departments across the bank.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completion by the end of your graduating year is required.
• Associates and/or bachelor's degree related to business and/or finance preferred.
• 2-3 years of customer service, relevant banking, and/or professional experience are preferred.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, typing, 10-key, and utilization of the internet is required.
• Commitment to demonstrating First Security's Core 5 values with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure new accounts are accurately established in alignment with customer expectations and internal guidelines; promptly elevate issues with potential customers or regulatory impact.
• Prepare and process signature cards for new and revised accounts, including checking, savings, Safe Deposit Box, CDs, and IRAs.
• Monitor system reports, verify supporting documentation, correct discrepancies, and maintain compliance with regulations such as BSA, Regulation D, Regulation DD, and Regulation Q.
• Protect all customer information and bank operations through strict confidentiality.
• Operate computer software and equipment, telephone, scanner, and copier, and develop proficiency with internal banking systems.
• Maintain reliable transportation, punctual attendance, and the ability to work on-site with extended hours when necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
