Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist to support bank and credit union clients with core processing and day-end activities in a hybrid work environment.

The role partners with a collaborative team to resolve complex deposit issues and deliver reliable service for end-of-day processing. The ideal candidate has at least four years of deposit operations experience, strong knowledge of DDA, savings, and CDs, and a proven commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience in a bank or credit union deposit operations environment.
• Strong working knowledge of deposit products (DDA, Savings, CDs) and related servicing processes.
• Working knowledge of NSF and exception/reject item processing including research and account maintenance.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while following policies and procedures.
• Rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, overnights, and some weekends.
• Standard 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CT schedule with occasional rotated coverage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming cases and emails and resolve per Service Level Standards.
• Use available support tools to assist customers and answer general questions.
• Escalate issues with clear issue descriptions to higher levels when needed.
• Participate in training and knowledge sharing to improve product knowledge and service skills.
• Grow and maintain a knowledge base with current information.
• Understand OS, file structures, and troubleshooting in the operating system.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
