Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an IT Deployment Technician to support multiple technology initiatives and perform hands-on deployment activities across the campus, including device installations and inventory management.

This entry-level role offers exposure to enterprise healthcare IT, with opportunities to work on high-visibility infrastructure projects and collaborate with hospital IT staff to drive project success.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of IT support, desktop support, deployment, or technical field services experience.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and operating systems.
  • Experience with hardware installation, device setup, and inventory management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Unbox, stage, and deploy IT equipment.
  • Track and maintain inventory of hardware and peripherals.
  • Install and configure desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other end-user devices.
  • Support technology refreshes, migrations, and implementation projects.
  • Assist with workstation moves, adds, and changes.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and elevate issues as needed.
  • Document completed work and maintain asset records.
  • Work closely with hospital IT staff and project teams to ensure successful project execution.

Description

TEKsystems is seeking a motivated and technically versatile IT Deployment Technician to support multiple technology initiatives. This individual will assist with hands-on deployment activities, device installations, inventory management, hardware setup, and IT implementation efforts across the campus.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional looking to gain enterprise healthcare IT experience while supporting high-visibility infrastructure and technology projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Unbox, stage, and deploy IT equipment.
  • Track and maintain inventory of hardware and peripherals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
