Job summary

Alation, Inc. is seeking a Deployment Strategist with 6–8 years in data/AI delivery to drive high-impact deployments at the intersection of data intelligence and governance.

You will advise accounts, map AI/data architectures, and run POVs, pilots, and adoption workshops, delivering compelling demos to enterprise stakeholders. The role requires credibility with technical teams, knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, GCP, and Azure, and frequent collaboration with sales teams to close deals.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years in technical delivery, solutions consulting or forward-deployed roles.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, architecture and data platform ecosystems.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, GCP and Azure.
• Exposure to data or AI governance concepts preferred.
• Proven experience engaging enterprise stakeholders and communicating value.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account teams as the technical advisor and product advocate.
• Understand customer AI/data architecture and fit Alation’s value.
• Lead discovery sessions on governance challenges.
• Own POV scope, pilots, and adoption workshops with clear outcomes.
• Deliver tailored product demos for enterprise stakeholders.
• Translate architecture concepts into actionable business terms.
• Navigate major data/cloud platforms to discuss integration points credibly.
• Build data-backed value stories linking tech to business impact.
• Identify expansion opportunities with account teams.
