Job summary

BY Recruiting is seeking a Deployment Strategist to own live enterprise deployments for major clients in a hybrid model in NYC or SF. The role combines on-site collaboration with engineering and product teams to translate complex workflows into scalable software solutions.

You will manage deployments end-to-end, travel domestically, and deliver measurable business results while leveraging AI tools and coding agents.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, or a high-growth startup.
• Demonstrated AI fluency — you actively use AI tools and coding agents in your current workflow, not just in theory.
• High agency, ownership mentality, and comfort operating in ambiguity with incomplete information.
• A stable career trajectory — tenure and internal progression are important.
• Basic SQL and Python knowledge preferred; willingness to learn is essential.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise deployments end-to-end: understand client operations, configure the platform, drive adoption, and deliver measurable results.
• Spend time on-site with customers (~10–20% travel) observing workflows, digging into data, and solving operational problems.
• Partner closely with engineering and product to translate legacy workflows into scalable software solutions.
• Make decisions with incomplete information — each deployment is unique and you must uncover what is true.
• Help build playbooks, tooling, and processes to speed future rollouts.

We're hiring a Deployment Strategist to own live enterprise deployments for some of the largest clients in the industry — one of the most complex, high-stakes rollout problems in financial services today.

What you'll do

• Own enterprise deployments end-to-end: understand how a client's operation actually works, configure the platform, drive adoption, and deliver measurable business results
• Spend time on-site with customers (~10–20% domestic travel) observing workflows, digging into data, and solving operational problems
• Partner closely with engineering and product to translate messy, legacy workflows into scalable software solutions
• Make decisions with incomplete information — every deployment looks different, and you'll be figuring out what's actually true
• Help build the playbooks, tooling, and processes that make future rollouts faster and more scalable

What we're looking for
