Job summary

Base Power seeks a Deployment Quality Lead to own, elevate, and optimize the quality of our installations. You will lead the Deployment Quality team, partnering with field ops, deployment engineering, and installation partners to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality battery installations.

You will build real-time dashboards, translate field defects into training, and own training implementation across in-house and third-party crews. This role values process rigor and end-to-end ownership.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4+ years of engineering experience (Industrial, Systems, Mechanical, Quality, Operations, or related field).
• Strong systems thinker who analyzes workflows and builds systematic controls.
• Ability to leverage data analytics and dashboarding tools to track metrics and drive decisions.
• High agency with ownership traits and ability to mentor team members.
• Translate engineering or process requirements into actionable training modules.
• Structured approach to root cause analysis to fix issues at the source.
• Exceptional cross-functional communicator collaborating with engineering and field ops.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale the Deployment Quality team, managing post-install reviews and rework workflows.
• Build and maintain real-time quality dashboards to track defect trends, SLAs, and rework rates.
• Develop training materials with Deployment Engineers and standard operating procedures.
• Own the delivery, tracking, and rollout of training programs for in-house crews and contractors.
• Maintain field visibility via remote audits, RCA, and collaboration with field supervisors and contractors.
• Identify recurring failure modes, map root causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Refine SOPs, closeout requirements, scorecards, and QA/QC inspection frameworks.
