Job summary

Astreya seeks a Project Coordinator II in Fremont, CA to lead planning and coordination of complex data center projects from initiation to delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure builds, retrofits, and technical modifications stay on schedule and within scope.

You will gather requirements, monitor progress, provide weekly updates, and drive issue resolution while delivering actionable insights to regional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Requires AA degree or equivalent and 2–5 years of related experience or training.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate complex data center projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Gather and maintain project requirement lists.
  • Coordinate equipment transfers for on-time delivery.
  • Provide weekly project updates and action items.
  • Schedule reviews and track follow-up actions.
  • Communicate status clearly to the project team.
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, hours and expenditures.
  • Escalate issues to the client manager as needed.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and document decisions.
  • Collaborate with regional teams for resources and ticket resolution.
  • Monitor the ticketing system daily and reassign tickets as required.
  • Produce regular reports and identify trends for improvement.
  • Deliver insights on KPIs and metrics to decision-makers.
  • Identify new process improvement opportunities.
  • Keep knowledge and skills up-to-date with new procedures.

What this Job Entails

The Project Coordinator II will plan and coordinate aspects of complex data center projects from initiation to delivery. This role will work with cross-functional teams to ensure new builds, retrofits, and technical modifications are completed on schedule. Projects may vary in number, size and complexity.

Your Roles and Responsibilities
  • Gather and maintain project requirement lists.
  • Coordinate and monitor equipment transfers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Provide weekly project updates including action item updates.
  • Schedule and coordinate project reviews and follows up on assigned actions.
  • Effectively and accurately communicate status to the project team.
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours and expenditures.
  • Assist with identifying project issues, determining the right team member to provide a solution, and/or escalating the issue to the client manager.
  • Take part in organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Collaborate with various regional teams responsible for project resources and ticket resolution.
  • Assist with daily monitoring of the ticketing system, reassigning tickets where required.
  • Produce regular reports as required.
  • Assist with identifying trends or recurring problems and escalates to management for resolution.
  • Assist with locating and defining new process improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintains knowledge and skills and keeps up-to-date with new processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with SDMs/Project Managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including assisting with identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.

Required Qualifications/Skills
  • Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Builds productive internal and external working relationships
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Flexibility essential - the role requires both office and remote commitments, as well as being willing to occasionally adjust work hours due to work with regional colleagues.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience with ticketing systems and/or project management system
  • Understanding of or previous experience in a technology driven environment
  • Proactive attitude and dependable
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload

Salary Range

$21.27 - $33.58 USD (Hourly)

Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.

Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position. Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
