Job summary

Dynamic Creatures is seeking a hands-on engineer to be the main technical presence at a customer site in Cambridge, MA. You will help deploy the robots and then support day-to-day operations, serving as a bridge between our engineering team and the client.

This role blends engineering with on-site leadership, with up to 50% travel. You’ll design test plans, run tests, collect data, troubleshoot, and provide clear feedback to improve software and hardware while keeping the customer satisfied.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Business degree, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
• 5+ years with a BS or 3+ years with an MS in complex integrations or robotics systems.
• Experience leading technical rollouts across hardware, software, and on-site operations.
• Ability to explain complex technology to audiences from the warehouse floor to the boardroom.

Manager: Chief Product Officer

The Gist

You'll be the main technical presence at one of our customer sites — first helping develop the deployment, then living it day-to-day once the robots are up and running. Equal parts engineer and on-site translator between our engineering team and the customer.

What You’ll Do

• Represent engineering on-site, supporting both development and deployment
• Build testing plans and procedures tailored to the customer site and roadmap
• Run tests on-site, track data, debug issues, and keep work moving
• Make sure testing goals are met while keeping the customer happy with performance
• Analyze collected data to help improve our software and hardware
• Keep engineering in the loop with clear, useful feedback

What We’re Looking For

• Engineering or Business degree, or equivalent hands-on industry experience
• Deep experience managing complex integrations or robotics systems: 5+ years with a BS or 3+ years with an MS
• Proven ability to lead technical rollouts spanning hardware, software, and on-site operations
• Ability to explain complex technology to audiences from the warehouse floor to the boardroom

Nice-to-haves

• Experience refining processes so they scale across sites
• CAD for site planning, enterprise networking, and Python or C++ APIs
• Comfort working in ambiguity
• Instinct for turning a strong technical integration into a larger account opportunity

Additional Information

• Approximately 50% travel is expected.
• This role is in-person in Cambridge, MA five days per week when not traveling.
