Dynamic Creatures in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Robotics Hardware Engineer to design subsystems, prototype components, and drive electrical/mechanical integration for character robots. In-person, full-time role requiring 3+ years in robotics and hands-on fabrication skills.

You will prototype rapidly, validate designs against real-world use, and iterate toward production-ready solutions, with emphasis on actuation, sensing, and structure. Benefits and visa constraints apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in robotics, consumer electronics, or related hardware.
• Strong mechanical or electrical fundamentals (or both).
• Hands-on prototyping experience (machining, 3D printing, soldering).
• BS/MS in ME, EE, Robotics, or equivalent experience.

Manager - Hardware Engineer Lead

Design and build the mechanical and electrical systems that bring our characters to life.

You’ll prototype rapidly, validate against real-world use, and iterate toward production-ready designs across actuation, sensing, and structure.

This role is in-person in Cambridge, MA 5-days per week.
