Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Deployment Engineer for the Anvil product line within Deployment Operations. You will focus on reliability, availability, and performance of deployed systems, bridging development and operations with automation and incident management.

Responsibilities include real-time debugging, remote field support, and data-driven root-cause analyses to improve product design and software updates. Occasional travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with UAV operations and drone systems.
• Proficiency with flight telemetry and UAV ground control tools.
• Strong Linux command-line and data manipulation skills.
• Experience building dashboards and analytics from telemetry data.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex hardware/software issues.
• Experience supporting production environments and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support to field operations for Anvil systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and drive long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer support.
• Lead post-mortem events to drive product improvements.
• Set up monitoring and alerting; build fleet-wide metrics dashboards.
• Travel to customer sites (<50%) to support delivery and sustainment.
