Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Deployment Engineer to ensure the reliability of the Anvil product line. You will bridge development and operations, automate tasks, manage incidents, and improve system stability across fielded UAV platforms.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, product management, and support teams, travel up to 50% for customer deployments and sustainment, and contribute to telemetry infrastructure and real-time monitoring.

Qualifications

• Extensive UAV and small drone operations experience.
• Experience with flight telemetry systems and UAV ground control software.
• Ability to troubleshoot UAV operations hardware and software.
• Self-sufficient across varied technologies in production environments.
• Strong data-driven root cause analysis skills.
• Experience providing on-call support in production environments.
• Proficient in Linux and robotic systems with CLI.
• Experience integrating telemetry and cloud data for fleet metrics.
• Excellent communication across engineering, operations, product and support.
• U.S. Person status required and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Able to meet health and medical requirements per DFARS 252.225-7040 and related regs.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support to field operations as they install, operate, and maintain Anvil systems.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, driving short-term resolutions and identifying long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with development, product, and operations to ensure reliability in design and build.
• Lead post-mortem events with engineering stakeholders to drive product improvements.
• Set up and maintain monitoring systems; define alerts for potential issues.
• Build data and telemetry infrastructure to monitor systems in real-time and derive fleet metrics.
• Create technical documentation to support customers, field ops, and engineering.
• Travel to customer sites (<50%) to support delivery, evaluation, and sustainment.
