Job summary

Providence is seeking a Template Builder to support provider templates and optimize schedules across the Southern California service area. The role focuses on effective template management, access optimization, and compliance with regional guidelines to enhance appointment availability.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 2+ years working with healthcare professionals, and proven EPIC EMR experience, with additional experience in building or maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• 2 years of experience interacting with healthcare professionals, including physicians and all levels of healthcare staff.
• 2 years of experience with and demonstrated proficiency in EPIC EMR applications.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and monitor provider templates across the network.
• Investigate errors in scheduling templates and recommend design improvements to improve availability.
• Ensure access optimization and alignment with local and regional guidelines.

The Template Builder position supports provider schedules across the Providence Clinical Network (PCN) Southern California service area, ensuring effective template management and schedule optimization for a diverse range of clinical specialties. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing appointment availability and streamlining the scheduling process while ensuring strategic organizational access goals are met throughout the region. The Template Builder is accountable for all template enhancement requests, ensuring compliance with both local and regional guidelines, as well as optimization standards. This position will ensure access optimization agreements are met, provider preferences are respected, and the unique operational needs of each clinic are addressed. Core responsibilities include implementing, maintaining, and monitoring provider templates, investigating errors, and making design recommendations to improve scheduling availability across all platforms.
