Job summary

The Department Manager is responsible for supervising and directing the work activities of their respective team. All aspects of the assigned department must be carried out as efficiently as possible with respect to staffing, materials management, financial management, customer care and customer delivery goals.

Minimum 7 years supervisory experience and 5 years in telecommunications or related fields are required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least seven years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Five+ years of experience in telecommunications or related technical/construction field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
• Education: High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise and discharge department staff as needed.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to meet department goals and objectives.
• Plan and manage workload distribution and project profitability.
• Manage scopes of work including telecom, AV, security, BIM and related tasks.
• Support bid processes and ensure quality and safety in customer work.
