Forman Mills Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Department Manager for the Receiving department. You will lead merchandising, signing, price changes, inventory, and recovery of your area while delivering a courteous, fast, and friendly shopping experience.

You will train and develop team members, ensure accurate floor plans and signing, coordinate with receiving to priority hot items, and communicate selling and non-selling merchandise to management. Some overtime and weekend hours required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: Cashier experience preferred but not required
• Math skills: ability to count money and give accurate change
• Able to handle different customer personalities professionally
• High energy, positive attitude, friendly, courteous
• Excellent people skills

Responsabilités

• Greet, assist, and thank customers in a positive, approachable manner
• Train and develop all team members in department operations
• Maintain merchandise presentation as directed by management
• Verify that signing on fixtures is correct
• Ensure floor plans and moves are safe and efficient
• Present new freight within 24 hours of receipt
• Condense older merchandise to make room for new items
• Coordinate with receiving to prioritize hot/fashionable merchandise
• Communicate selling and non-selling merchandise to store management
• Complete timely price changes as directed by the Store Support Center
• Ensure inventory counts are accurate
• Perform additional tasks as needed across store areas
• Report dishonest behavior to management or loss prevention
• Communicate tasks and assignments to department staff and management
