Martens-Trilling True Value is seeking a Department Lead to maximize departmental sales and profitability while controlling expenses. You will ensure optimal stocking, merchandising, and customer service as the store’s main growth driver.

You will train and develop associates, plan for promotions and events, and lead a team to meet daily goals with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain awareness of promotions and advertisements.
• Execute daily operations and priorities, and assign duties to the department team.

• Keep department floors, shelves, and overstocks labeled, clean, and safe.
• Assist in planning for sales and major holidays or events.
• Assist in training and developing store staff for growth.
