Job summary

Heritage Auctions, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Consignment Processor to join our Dallas-area team. You will process incoming consignments, prepare electronic reports, and keep clients informed about status and next steps.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of collectibles and a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience, with proficiency in Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 2+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming consignments accurately and efficiently.
• Open packages, label contents, and create an electronic report.
• Communicate with clients regarding consignment status.
• Research consignments and return client material.
• Perform department-wide inventories and assemble client information packets.
• Assist Consignment Directors and other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY: Responsible for processing incoming consignments and communicating the status with customers.

COMPENSATION: Commensurate based on experience

LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process incoming consignments accurately and efficiently, including:
  
  
  
  • Opening packages
  
  
  • Labeling and verifying the contents of packages
  
  
  • Creating an electronic report for the consignment
  
  
  
  


• Communicate with clients in all aspects of the consignment


• Research the status of consignments


• Return client material


• Perform department-wide inventories of consignment material


• Assemble client information packets


• Assist with Consignment Directors' responsibilities


• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma required


• Minimum 2+ years of related experience and/or training

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel


• Ability to prioritize and multi-task and pay great attention to detail


• The individual may occasionally lift to 50 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Individuals must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position may require overnight travel based on business needs.
