Job summary

Heritage Auctions, the world’s largest collectibles auctioneer, seeks a detail‑oriented Consignment Processor in the Dallas area to join its team.

You will process incoming consignments, open packages, verify contents, and create electronic reports while communicating status with clients.

The role requires a high school diploma and customer service experience; proficiency in Word and Excel; ability to multi‑task and lift up to 50 pounds; the environment is fast‑paced and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming consignments accurately and efficiently.
• Open packages; label and verify contents.
• Create an electronic report for the consignment.
• Communicate with clients regarding consignments.
• Research the status of consignments.
• Return client material.
• Perform department inventories of consignment material.
• Assemble client information packets.
• Assist with Consignment Directors' responsibilities.
• Other duties may be assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process incoming consignments accurately and efficiently, including:
• Opening packages
• Labeling and verifying the contents of packages
• Creating an electronic report for the consignment
• Communicate with clients in all aspects of the consignment
• Research the status of consignments
• Return client material
• Perform department-wide inventories of consignment material
• Assemble client information packets
• Assist with Consignment Directors' responsibilities
• Other duties may be assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task and pay great attention to detail
• The individual may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Individuals must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position may require overnight travel based on business needs.
