Liberty FCU in Denver, CO seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to grow mortgage business through self-generated activities. You will interview borrowers, explain programs, and coordinate documents to approvals, while applying regulatory rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years mortgage origination experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to discuss loan particulars and personal financial details.
• Ability to obtain federal registration / NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct loan interviews and discuss programs, requesting documents for approval.
• Evaluate borrower credit and financial status for mortgage qualification.
• Pursue and follow up on leads via phone, email, or in person.
• Build relationships with realtors and referral partners.
• Maintain knowledge of loan products and underwriting guidelines.
