Job summary

The American Indian College Fund is seeking an HRBP, ER to enhance the employee experience through workplace investigations, onboarding, trainings, and engagement initiatives. The role, hybrid and based in Denver, reports to the People Operations Director and may travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities include handling employee relations, conducting investigations with confidentiality, supporting leave and accommodations, and fostering an inclusive, values-aligned culture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of human resources, employee relations, learning and development, or related experience.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving employee concerns with sound judgment.
• Experience facilitating onboarding, manager trainings, organization-wide trainings, or engagement activities.
• Working knowledge of employee relations practices, investigation processes, and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and post-hire onboarding experience, including welcome touchpoints and 30-day check-ins.
• Develop and facilitate org-wide trainings on respectful workplace practices and communication.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee relations concerns and manage investigations.
• Support employee leave, accommodation matters, and escalation processes.
• Maintain confidential records, training materials, and engagement summaries.
