Job summary

42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, seeks a Dentist to join our established Massachusetts practice and continue delivering healthy, confident smiles.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, create and review treatment plans, interpret x‑rays, and provide restorative and preventive care.

Required: DMD or DDS, current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR; 401K and continuing education are offered.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Active state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.

Education
