Job summary

42 North Dental, based in the Boston area, seeks a Dentist to join our established practice. Built by dentists for dentists, we deliver healthy, confident smiles for life and welcome a steady flow of new patients each month.

You will diagnose and treat patients, educate them on options, create treatment plans, review options with patients, maintain medical and dental records, interpret x‑rays, monitor growth, and perform restorative and surgical procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice in the relevant state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development
