Job summary
42 North Dental in Massachusetts is seeking a Dentist to lead the full clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care. In our established practice you will welcome a strong flow of new patients monthly and collaborate with in‑house specialists such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.
A state license to practice dentistry, DMD or DDS, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification are required.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
- Review treatment plan options with patients
- Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
- Maintain high quality standard of care
- Maintain ethics and professionalism
- Stay updated with new developments and continuing education
