Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a General Dentist to join our team in Torrington, CT. You will oversee the patient experience from exams to delivery of care, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer part-time or full-time possibilities, flexible scheduling, and a compensation structure up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k, and CE opportunities through Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients and update records.
• Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
