Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join our team in Torrington, CT. You will manage the full clinical patient experience from exams and treatment planning to delivery of care, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position supports both part-time and full-time schedules, with compensation up to 36%. We offer health, vision, 401K and CE opportunities. Join a team devoted to excellent patient care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B as required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS/CPR certification required or current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatment options.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment choices.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options and update patient records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests to guide care.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures within scope of practice.
