Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a Part-time or Full-time General Dentist to join our team. You’ll deliver comprehensive care in a patient‑centered practice with a focus on high quality outcomes.

From exams and treatment planning to in‑office specialty services (periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics), you’ll shape the patient experience. Compensation is up to 36% of collections, with a broad earning potential.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
