Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a General Dentist to join our team in Torrington, CT. You will oversee the full patient experience from exam and treatment planning to care delivery, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time, 2-5 days per week, 8AM-5PM) and an earning model up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health insurance, dental and vision coverage, retirement plans, and CE opportunities

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current CT dental license to practice.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatments.
• Educate patients on oral health options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and surrounding tissues.
