Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist in Torrington, CT to guide the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care. In‑office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a collaborative team focused on excellent outcomes.

This role offers either part‑time or full‑time hours (2–5 days per week, typically 8am–5pm) and compensation of up to 36% of collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.

Education
