Job summary

Indian Health Service seeks a Dentist to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered dental care within American Indian communities. You will manage complex cases, collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, and help advance health equity while improving community well-being.

Required: DMD or DDS from an ADA/CODA-approved school, current unrestricted license to practice dentistry, and at least one year of professional experience. GS-12 requires a 2-year residency or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from an ADA/CODA-approved school.
• Licensure: current, full, unrestricted dental license in the United States.
• Experience: at least one year of professional dentistry work at GS-11 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered dental care.
• Manage restorative, pediatric, periodontal, endodontic, prosthodontic, and surgical procedures.
