Job summary

Indian Health Service is seeking a Dentist to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered dental care within a multidisciplinary team. You will manage complex cases, conduct exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans while advancing health equity for American Indian communities.

You will also educate patients on treatment options, risks, and aftercare, collaborate with medical colleagues, and contribute to quality improvement and infection control initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience providing restorative, diagnostic, and preventive dental services.
• Ability to evaluate complex dental conditions and coordinate care.
• Deliver patient education and preventive care to diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive dental care, including examinations, treatment planning, restorative procedures, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and emergency dental services.
• Independently evaluates and manages complex dental conditions and coordinates care with medical providers.
• Delivers patient education and preventive care, ensuring understanding of options, risks, and aftercare.
