Indian Health Service is seeking a licensed Dentist to provide patient-centered dental care, manage complex cases, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance health equity for American Indian communities.

The role requires compliance with federal immunization policies, licensure for clinical privileges, and participation in quality and infection-control initiatives. Beneficiary-focused care and professional leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD with licensure to practice dentistry in the U.S.
• One year of specialized dentistry experience and/or a residency for the GS-12 level.
• Ability to provide comprehensive dental services across multiple specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care across multiple specialties and emergency services.
• Evaluate and manage complex dental conditions and coordinate care with medical providers.
• Deliver patient education and preventive care while addressing diverse cultural and socioeconomic needs.
• Provide consultation to healthcare teams on dental health and its impact on overall health.
• Maintain clinical records, participate in quality improvement, and support infection control and program operations.
