Job summary

The Dental Office of Rosen and Dworkin in Marlton, NJ seeks a Treatment Plan Coordinator to ensure a seamless patient experience, explain treatment plans and insurance benefits, and coordinate appointments.

Responsibilities include presenting treatment plans and financial estimates, scheduling appointments, managing doctor and hygiene schedules, handling pre-authorizations, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant patient records.

Qualifications

• Dental insurance knowledge is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Project coordination experience.
• Adhere to OSHA guidelines, HIPAA Privacy Policy, and operating procedures.
• Facility with Microsoft Office and dental practice management software.
• Positively contribute to a respectful and collaborative working environment with coworkers.
• Willingness to advance skills through continuing education opportunities.
• Present to work during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present treatment plans and financial estimates to patients for all prescribed treatments.
• Schedule patient treatment appointments and reschedule as needed.
• Manage Doctor and hygiene schedules to optimize appointment time.
• Coordinate daily patient flow with the clinical team.
• Assist patients with financial arrangements.
• Complete pre-authorization.
• Handle all treatment paperwork including consent and forms.
• Maintain professional relationships with Doctor and staff.
• Check patients out and handle calls.
• Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
