Gentle Dental World in Queens, NY seeks a Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator to educate patients on treatment options, coordinate scheduling, verify insurance, and process payments. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a modern office with advanced dental technology.

You will work closely with clinicians to guide patients through their care journey, maintain accurate records, and support marketing efforts to grow patient engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum of 1 year front office experience, preferably in a dental setting and with dental software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working with various dental insurance plans, coupled with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate, consult, and present patient treatment plans in a clear and supportive manner.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Verify and process insurance for clinical appointments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and information using dental software.
• Collect and process payments for services rendered.
• Manage doctors and hygiene schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Register and assign rooms to patients, manage clinical staff.
• Billing for performed dental treatment and submission of predeterminations.
• Present treatment plans to patients
• Confirm phone and online appointments.
• Respond to patients needs, requests
• Keep records of occupied treatment rooms and patients.
• Communicate pertinent patient information to designated departments

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 years of front office experience, in a dental setting and dental software
• Strong organizational skills
