Job summary

Comprehensive Dental Health, an office within Dental Associates of Connecticut, is seeking a Treatment Coordinator / Dental Receptionist at our New Haven location. You will be the liaison between doctor and patient, coordinating treatment plans and presenting them to patients.

A warm, calm environment helps patients manage anxiety and costs related to dentistry. Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling calls, scheduling, entering plans, discussing needs, collecting payments, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Dental reception experience.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn & grow.
• Ability to reliably commute to the office location in New Haven, CT.
• A desire to become part of our family-oriented team & support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible!
• Ability to work within current office hours, shifts to be determined. Includes up to two evenings per week and two Saturdays per Month.

Responsibilities

• Greet & check in patients
• Handle heavy phone volume
• Schedule appointments for doctors & hygienists
• Act as a liaison between patients & doctors
• Enter patient treatment plans
• Discuss treatment needs with patients & make financial arrangements
• Estimate, collect, & post patient payments
• Follow up on patients with unscheduled treatment needed
• General office duties (printing/faxing/computer data entry, etc.)
