Job summary

Comprehensive Dental Health, an office within Dental Associates of Connecticut, seeks a Treatment Coordinator / Dental Receptionist in New Haven. You will greet patients, manage calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate treatment plans with the doctor while discussing financial arrangements.

You will ensure a calm, welcoming experience for anxious patients, enter treatment plans, and follow up on referrals and payments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a dental receptionist helpful.
• Proficient computer skills and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet & check in patients
• Handle heavy phone volume
• Schedule appointments for doctors & hygienists
• Act as a liaison between patients & doctors
• Enter patient treatment plans
• Discuss treatment needs with patients & make financial arrangements
• Estimate, collect, & post patient payments
• Follow up on patients with unscheduled treatment needed
• General office duties (printing/faxing/computer data entry, etc.)
