Qualifications

• Experience in dental treatment coordination or similar healthcare role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology and insurance processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to explain treatment options clearly.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with dental office management software and MS Office.
• Positive, professional attitude with commitment to patient care and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Present and explain treatment plans to patients, ensuring they understand options and costs.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments aligning with treatment timelines and patient preferences.
• Verify insurance coverage, submit claims, and follow up on billing issues.
• Explain dental procedures clearly to patients, ensuring informed care decisions.
• Encourage adherence to recommended treatments and address patient concerns.
• Discuss and explain payment plans and financing options to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans and insurance data.
• Collaborate with front office, dental assistants and hygienists to ensure smooth operations.
• Make follow-up calls regarding treatment progress and post-treatment care.
