Qualifications

• Front office experience in a dental setting with treatment planning, financial presentation, and insurance coordination/verification.
• Strong background in managing patient and insurance collections.
• Solid understanding of dental terminology and cosmetic/reconstructive procedures (Invisalign).
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication with patient advocacy focus.
• Familiarity with modern dental practice management software and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Present comprehensive treatment plans to patients, explain financial options clearly, and answer questions to facilitate acceptance.
• Drive patient collections and follow up on outstanding balances, including co-pays and deductibles.
• Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and follow up on accounts receivable.
• Maintain an optimal daily schedule for doctors and hygienists, manage cancellations and fill-ins.
• Track unscheduled treatment plans and follow up to maintain high completion rates.
