Apex Dental in Nacogdoches is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The role collaborates closely with dentists, helps patients understand required care, and presents treatment options not typically offered in all offices.

We offer a fast-paced environment, emphasis on customer service, and opportunities for growth. The position is full-time, on-site, with a starting wage of $17 per hour, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Customer service experience and ability to multitask.
• Dependable, task-focused, detail-oriented, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Understand front office day-to-day duties and assist accordingly.
• Discuss treatment with patients and explain options.
• Prepare consent forms and obtain parental approval before treatment.
• Explain insurance benefits, out-of-pocket costs, and financing options.
• Collect fees per patient insurance or visit.
• Assist the office manager with claims, codes, and PA paperwork.
• Handle pre-authorizations, narratives, and intraoral images.
• Support the Greeter and Insurance Specialist as needed.
• Keep front office area neat and welcoming.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
