Warner Road Modern Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant Supervisor to lead and train the dental assisting team, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality care. This role focuses on compliance with state regulations, infection control, and team development in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate holds required state certifications, an associate degree or certificate, and demonstrates strong leadership, confidentiality, and policy adherence within a dental practice environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus mandated state certification courses.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from an accredited college/technical school or equivalent.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents (manuals, regs, journals).
• Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc).
• Ability to direct the work of others and lead a team.
• Safeguard confidential employee records and compensation information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach dental assistants to ensure peak performance.
• Manage patient flow to optimize patient experience and dentist efficiency.
• Perform duties per state dental allowable functions.
• Develop the dental assistant team through learning plans and skill expansion.
• Integrate specialty dental assistants into the team.
• Manage infection control, sterilization and disinfection per CDC guidelines.
• Maintain supplies and stay within budget.
• Educate team on maintenance procedures and ensure timely execution.
