Job summary

Rockingham Dental Group - Exeter, part of Heartland Dental, seeks a friendly Dental Receptionist for a full-time role in Exeter. Salary range $20-$24/hour based on experience, plus benefits. Schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with no weekends.

You will be the first point of contact, handling phones, scheduling, insurance coordination, and patient payments in a fast-paced dental office. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid holidays, PTO, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and protecting PHI as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: answering phones, mail, and emails.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records management.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File patient insurance claims and follow up on claims and benefits.
• Post insurance and patient payments and handle accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to optimize office efficiency.
